So the owners of the disapproving rabbits website take there bun to an event called "hoppy hour" at there local humane society.
All these buns come together and play without fighting, humping or even foot flickies that I can see...
How does this work? Here is a video of hoppy hour and I think its just to cute. But would love to know how they do it....I bet Fraggles would not be invited lol.

Omg! That is unreal! Idont think I would like that lol too many people hahaha but cookie? He's quite the social butterfly (well with people anyway) he'd prob love it ;) I can't believe theres no fighting... That seems strange...

It must be because it's neutral territory and there's so many buns it's impossible to carve out a territory.

I think I'm too paranoid about what could happen to take my buns. I would be curious to see it live though.

Pretty much what Brandy said though it also risk exposure to things. Eh I don't think I'd ever do it.

Katie I agree, mine would probably fight. And never be invited back.

We could always get "The Fraggles" and "The Daisy Mae" together. Hee Hee and of course "Miss Muppet" could come too.

It's just too bad theirs so many miles between us.

Susan & Daisy Mae:)

omg thats awesome!!! If my guys didnt think it was a game to get picked up i would totally do this!! :p

Wow, I can't even let two of my buns get close to each other without them trying to fight, I wonder why so many get along totally fine? I mean, you would think there would be one there somewhere that wouldn't get along with everyone else...

Not something I would personally do (The risk for parasites seems insanely high to me) but it is rather neat.

Well I guess there are extremely strick vet check rules before a bun can join. Plus there are strict rules during the event. Just to see all those buns not just running around but sharing hay boxes like that. Totally crazy...

Vet checks don't cover everything. Unless someone does a vet check every time I wouldn't feel safe. Considering I have seen rabbits go to the vets get a great check up and a week later they have come down with something. I would love to talk to people who run these to find out.

It works probably because it's neutral territory, a LOT of activity going on, a LOT of space, and they're probably all spayed/neutered. Fun to watch, but I don't think I'd ever participate. All it takes is one sick one, and you've got a major problem.

I think it is so neat. Though I am far to over protective of Rue to let her play in such a large group.

Wow that's pretty neat. The rabbits really looked like they were enjoying themselves. I'm sure Harvey would love something like that, but he hates car rides and his carrier. Plus I would not like him to get sick.

AND I never realized how big Flemish Gaints really are haha. Dang XD

Oh my goodness, that is so cute!! I would love to go without my bunnies and just watch everyone bounce around and pet any bunnies that came to visit me :) Health issues aside, I don't think I could bring my bunnies. Rory would go on a rampage and attack all the others, and I would be way too worried that someone else would accidentally take home one of mine if theirs looked similar. Probably wouldn't happen, but with my luck, someone would walk out with one of my babies and I'd never see him/her again!

I would think they would also be microchipped just in case there was a question of who is whom. I have all four of mine chipped just in case something horrible would happen when we are out in their stroller. I guess I feel like it is a little insurance, but I could see my kids hopping up to a fox. Oh, hello. Do you want to play? *chomp*

Believe it or not, my sweet little Miss Becky is the most territorial out of my four. She does not like other buns in her space. They all did well at the Love-n-bunns Christmas party last year though. Houdini got to see some of his siblings and cousins again. It was a lot of fun, so I guess that was similar.

I think thats the reason that some of the more common colors have colored collars on. So nobody gets confused....
Yeah, I noticed that... I'd still probably be paranoid though! That aside, I've watched all of Disapproving Rabbits' Hoppy Hour videos. They're so fun! And so full of rabbity adorableness :)

I'd be paranoid too! Plus, I'd probably be the one having to signal a bouncer because MY rabbit was being a buttface :p
