How do you train rabbits to jump properly ??

Hello, I'm new so I'll introduce myself first:I'm jessy:biggrin2: and my question is in the title, does anyone know how? I've been on rabbits united and golden bunnies , but I wants website with info really, but I'm asking you first! Thanks xxx

Hi Jessy, welcome to RO! What do you mean by jump properly? Are they moving in a strange way or they don't like to jump over/on to things? Or are you talking about the sport rabbit hopping?

If you are meaning rabbit hopping (show jumping) and your rabbit is kicking out, then you just need to keep working on it. Our club, the Canadian Rabbit Hopping Club, does have this issue with a few bunnies and usually at higher jump heights. I think some of the danish people try to get their rabbits to run up to the jump rather than just having them jump from standing still. You really just need to work with your rabbits on jumping and don't get too high too soon.
