First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone posted on this thread, it has helped me a great deal and it looks like it has helped other people to rediscover old hobbies and/or start new ones.

I have asked my mum how old you have to be to help out in an animal shelter and she said it depends if you want to be paid and I said I don't want to be paid i just want to help and look after the animals.

After my birthday and after we have taken Fluffball to the vet we are going to look into it. I am very excited lol

Cool and good on ya for wanting to help the animals!

If you wanted to volunteer at the resuce centres like the RSPCA youhave to be 16, but you can pick the rescue shelters run by familys and I am sure they would be extremely greatful for the help. :)

Have a look on Rabbit-rehome.org.uk and see if you can find any rescues close to you. Anything that doesn't say RSPCA at the beginning is run independantly, and alot are small family run rescues in peoples houses.
