Hi everyone,
I am new to the discussion board, but have been a bunny lover for life. I currently have one rabbit, a mini lop named Humphrey DeForest Bogart, that I adopted from a shelter. I am really eager to get to know other rabbit lovers and to get advice.

Thanks for the friendly welcome everyone!! I cannot stop looking at everyone's adorable picture of thier bunnies!!! I cannot wait until I can officially adopt Humphrey, he had to have his insisors removed on July 6th and the rescue I found wanted to make sure that he had at least two weeks to recover with them before I took him home. I am sure that I am going to have lots of questions once he gets here. I have never had a rabbit that didn't spend his time playing with things he could chew on. Anyway, as to the name. I am an old movie buff and when I met Humphrey the first thing I noticed were the little patches on his "elbows" it was almost like an old man's sweater and Humphrey Bogart from Casablanca, etc. is like the cutest old man I have ever seen

DeForest was actually Humphrey Bogarts middle name. I have an affinity for giving pets full names. My last rabbit's name was Frederick Hobart Mertz, from the show "I Love Lucy." :biggrin2:
