Hi everyone,

My name is Michelle. I had a bunny when I was younger until he died of old age. Recently (the past year), I've wanted to get a bunny again. My husband finally said yes. I've been looking into the different breeds and have ultimately decided on getting an English Lop. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and have had so much "un-luck" in finding any English Lops. I've come here to hopefully have some success in finding a bunny, learning more, and sharing my future bunny and his or her adventures.

Hi Michelle, and Welcome to the forum!

E Lop, huh? Too cute! You could try searching on Petfinder with your zipcode for one;). Try that and see what you find. Seems they can be hard to find sometimes.

Good Luck inyour search and keep us posted about it!

Welcome to the forum!! Lops are adorable, good luck finding one. . . Do you have a local branch of the House Rabbit Society? I know the one around me has lots of bunnies in foster homes looking for their forever home.

We do have a Rabbit House Society in Colorado. The problem is they won't adopt out just one rabbit. They adopt them out in pairs. My hubby will only let me get one. :(

Hello & Welcome! That's odd that they only adopt pairs. Why don't you do a search for other bunny organizations in CO? I do know of one, and now I can't think of it off the top of my head. I know there are several other than just the House Rabbit Society. Check petfinder as well I bet there are lots of bunnies on there.

Good luck finding your new friend. You'll find lots of support and information here. :)
