Hi...I'm Jessica. I'm new around here. I had rabbits growing up, and 6 months ago my mom just showed up with a set of 6 week old "girls" for my hubby and I. We were very upset at the time, but all is forgiven now. They stay in the office with the computer, were we spend most of our time. I love seeing and learning their little personalities, and I crave more and more information about them!

Well, Jolene turned out to be a boy, now called Joe. Reba is still a girl. I'll post pics when I get them on the computer. We also have 2 cats-tabbies named Spitz and Riley. Also, a miniature schnauzer (Pearl) and a shitzu (Gizzy Bear) - see why we weren't thrilled about more pets? The very day she brought the rabbits home, I found out I was pregnant with our first child. It's about to get really exciting around here!

Anyway, I don't know how much posting I will do. I tend to lurk around unseen on forums, but I have already been reading alot and seeing your cute pictures.

Oh, and I do have one question. Our bunnies are dwarf breeds (not sure what type though), and they do what I have learned is called a "binky". I love it! I one day hope to have a large breed bunny, and I'm just wondering...Do large breeds binky as well?

Oops! Always funny when the gender fairy strikes! Happens a lot it seems... only really causes problems if they decide to breed before their human finds out someone isn't who they said they were! .

Does sound like you have an exciting house! Congrats on the baby!

I have a 12lb french lop, and yup - big bunnies do binky! Not as 'gracefully' as the smaller breeds.. but he does big clunky clumsy binkies that are equally adorable!

Yep, big breeds binky too! They're actually really fun to watch binky! It's so funny to watch the bigger breeds! Catch a youtube vid of it, cute!

Here are some good links to areas of the site you might find interesting, the Library section, full of good reference info, Bunny Blog, where you can keep everyone up to date on your bunny and your life as a bunny slave and if you bunny would like to ask questions of other buns the Bunny Chat is the spot to be. The regional forum is a good way to find a rabbit savvy vet or to post places where you get some of your supplies for your bun etc.

You don't have to say what city your in but if you could update your profile with an area ofyour in, may be likeNorth west Ohio etc, that would help others provide you with info that may help you and your bunny.

If you would like to post pictures in your post this link How to put photo's in your posts will help explain that.

I hope I didn't overwhelm you with info. This is a wonderful site and I look forward to seeing pictures of your bun and stories about them.
