I fail to see the humor in that.

Let me picture how funny it would be if gum was stuck in your hair. :ponder:

Well i hope you have the time as they seem torequire lots ofMaintenance.
Wait, are you talking about me or conejita?

Not you Amy!, it was for Conejita. I was telling her that because ofwhat people have said about the angoras- require lots of time to brush.

It would be reallyhard to find an Angora down there any ways, the nearest Angora for mewas a 4 hour drive. And I dont know of any German Angora breeders inTX.

Conejita, I wouldtake care of the bunnies you have now and worry about getting them tameand taking really good care of them, and then start to think aboutgetting another one. Dont you have babies coming?

Conejita, I'm not sure you fully understand the work they require.

You have how many rabbits do you havenow? Why were you thinking of rehoming them?

Here's why I'm asking.

I have seven house rabbits. They are my furkids. I couldn'tlove them more if I gave birth to them myself. I love every minute I amgiven with them. But they are alot of work and take up alot of mytime.

I am adopting two Jersey Woolies. They are a bit easier to carefor than the angoras but they are still going to be alot of work. Doranis still young and needs to be brushed daily or he'll get mats.

Angoras are also a bit more prone to wool block. You have to stay on top of it constantly.

I am not saying that no one should have angoras. All I'm sayingis you have to dedicate yourself and your time to them. They are not aneasy breed to have, that's why so many people don't have them as theyare very high maintence.

I'm not trying to be mean but that whole gum in the hair was SoNot Funny. That was mean and makes me worry about an angora in yourcare.

I also noticed thatin your last posts that you keep your bunnies on the floor (without awire bottom). If an angora is kept on the ground his fur will severelymat because of the shavings it will tangle in its fur.

Also have you switched their diets lately?Thier food in those pics looks like it made up of corn and othervarious colorful things, which are not the best for yourbuns.

THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT THAT GUM IN THEFUR . I WANT A BUNNY LIKE THE ONE I JUST TO HAVE BEFORE AND NO OTHERBUNNY CAN REPLACE HER AND NO I DON'T HAVE ANY BABIES COMING AFTER ALL.I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ANGOLA AND I FOUND ONE IN AUSTIN TX.

I have read your posts and I am very confused.

Your rabbits are having behavior issues to the pontyou were going to rehome two of them. I think it's great you decided tokeep them all. I think you need to seriously work on getting themspayed and neutered. They need alot of your time devoted just to themto work out these behavior issues. Adding another rabbit isn't going tofix the problem. In fact chances are you are going to have 4 attitudebunnies on your hands.

Plus the work of an Angora is going to take the time you need to work on the others away.

Please stop and think about what is in the best interests ofthe rabbits you now have. They need you to help them not bring anotherrabbit in right now.

Maybe one day when things have settled down you can consider getting another bunn.

Tina
