I am trying to post new pics of my bunny for everyone to see but cant upload them?
I was considering changing his name, currently Dusk(breeder named him) and was looking for opinions? ::lookaround

Asphalt, cosmo, expresso and my favorite Mamba lol from that show jackas$ the sock puppet they slap people with is called the black mamba!! I so wish i had a black rabbit to name that now!!

If I liked a name I'd want to check out on Wikipedia & do an online search to see if it had meanings I wasn't aware of. For me that would be like newer conotations, like finding out that Diablo was a video game, not just a word meaning devil. But on the other hand I knew that a black mamba was a poisonous snake.

But I do think the Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings names should get a rest for awhile. There surely are other books or movies that are relateable. Vampire maybe?

i have never seen a single harry potter movie, a star wars movie/episode, twilight, Buffy none of it!! not a single one not even 5 minutes of one.

Fantasy may not interest you, LaRissa, but check out these 2 books before you can be sure.

C S Lewis ====> Til We Have Faces
William Morris ====> The Well At The World's End

Both should be available in libraries. They will NOT be in the young adult section.

I will see if i can find them. Im not against fantasy just have never gotten around to them watched the previews a lot and it just never jumped out at me. Don't know what kind of books you like but wally lamb has 2 that are my favs one is called she's come undone and the other is i know this much is true

I'm pretty sure I'd shrivel up without my sci-fi and fantasy books/movies. I weep for you! :p

I tend to pick unusual names that aren't, for most, hard to pronounce. Atticus is from a book, Pidge is from Lady and the Tramp, and Starling is named after the type of bird because of her personality.

I have a list on my blog of names if you want to take a gander. I list the names I've used and names I've seen that I want to use in the future. :)
