when i got Oreo as a gift for a 4th of july she had ear mites Can anyone tell me the best way to get read of them? such as buy over the conur medison or see my vet? now keep in mind my family is on a money buget and it is tight!!!!

Ivermectin would be the best. That can be purchased at most farm supply houses. It must be properly dosed or it can be toxic. Mites should also receive several treatments at regular intervals. I do know of some that use mineral oil but I don't particularly like that method. Mites need to be dealt with since they can cause a secondary ear infection and all the problems that come with that.

go to your vet. when i bred, i lost 6 rabbits after i home medicated them, and was told the wrong dose. it was tragic, as 3 of those rabbits were considered my pets and i was very close to them.

Yeah I wouldnt recommend self medicating with Invermectin if youre inexperienced, it can be fatal if the dosage isnt correct.

Your best bet would be to get to the vets and ask for Revolution. I used it on my foster for for fleas and mites and it worked like a charm!

I got the medication about a week ago! it really helped she is a happy bunny agin! The onaly thing she didnt like is my vet said i also had to dig that naty crud out of her ears! She didnt like that all that much!



I am glad she is feeling better! You can tell she is felling better! She is hopper than a kangeroo looking for her joey!
