My indoor male bunny has an awful odor. Can youtell me what this may be from? food he's eating or something he mayhave gotten into. Thanks,

Are you sure its the actually rabbit that smellsor just the poop/pee? Most likely what you are smelling arethe ammonium compounds in their waste. A frequently cleanedlitter box/cage helps prevent odors. Hope this helps.

Its not the bunny your right it is his pee. Iwonder why just recently ot started happening, it never stunk before. Is is something he ate?

Does it smell kinda like onions andgarlic? It could be he's marking his poos and it could be hisscent glands need cleaned.

How old is he?

Is it a horrible musky odor? If so, I think it may be time for the ole snip snip.

Chompers used to get that BAD, one time it was so bad I had to open allthe windows in my apartment and it was freezing out. Yes, my place wasa small one bedroom, but still. lol I forgot about that until now.heeheh

It's nothing to be worried over, but it is unpleasant. Thankfully, wegot our other buck neutured before he could start doing that.

LOL! Bo's "scent" does smell like a kind of old garlic and onions....

When he was maturing and before we got him neutered, he would "scent"his poos and drop them on me..... oh yes.... I am his.:? It was quite annoying to say the least LOL!

Funny enough Shadow isnt fearful when she throws off the musksmell, like I said its when I stop patting her and she has a tantrum, thumps and blows the stink:pGuess every bun is different

They can "fart" too. *giggles*

We didn't know that until one day a long time ago, Bo was sitting inhis cage on a resting mat and eating hay.... suddenly his little rumplifts up and we hear a soft "pffft" I thought my daughter and I wouldlaugh to our death.... :p

I dont know how old he is I found him ...but hekinda looks like your bunny. Ive fed him oats, swiss chard, parsley, and kale. Could this be why?

yes my my Romeo was on a metal table and let"one" out and made a squealing sound and scared the stink right out ofhim.!!!!:?:D
