The girls are expected to arrive at 7pm today.
I have had trouble figuring out what vitamins they need from theveggies. My pigs need vitamin C and low calcium. What do rabbits need?
Do I need 2 of everything? Litterboxes, food bowls, water bottles?
I am familiar with
www.rabbit.org but I justcant figure out what I need to know. It must be a me thing.
What was their diet like at theshelter? You should feed them the same way, pellet brand andall, while they settle in, then start slowly changing theirdiets. If they feed veggies there, ask how much and whattypes and start with those.
Are they bonded already? If not, they'll need separate livingareas to start with. You'll want to read up on bondingbunnies here:

If they do get veggies as a large component of their diet, the mainthings to do are feed at least three different types of leafy greensper day and to make sure at least one has vitamin A. The HRS(rabbit.org) list marks the veggies with vitamin A. Somerabbits are sensitive to calcium, but most should be okay with one ortwo high-calcium veggies at a time. Those are also marked onthat list. There's more on veggies, and more lists of safeand unsafe veggies, here:
