Hi all, I'm a new member here!

I was looking some advice about my buns diet. He is now 12 weeks old and we are starting to introduce vegetables to his diet. Up until now he has been getting a shot glass of nuggets a day (which he adores) and unlimited hay. What I'm wondering is now that he is having veggies should his nugget amount be reduced? Also how much veggies should he get? He is a netherland/lionhead mix, I am guessing the norm would be 1 packed cup of veggies per day from what I have read so far. I would appreciate any help, thanks )

Up until about a year, it is good to give unlimited pellets (just fill the bowl all the way) and unlimited hay. Be very careful introducing the veggies; with my buns I've even waited unitl 4-5 months. Just go slowly with it and don't give too many. I'd wait a bit longer on trying any fruit.

Thank you for your reply :) I'm going by the amount it tells me to give him on the back of the pack. Apparently nuggets are addictive for bunnies but also not too good for them due to high sugar content so I think unlimited would be bad for him and he would never touch hay if I give him the nuggets too often (he def prefers them) lol

What do you mean by nuggets? Are they pellets? What is the brand? The nuggets sound more like a treat then pellets; if they're a treat, definitely don't over do it on those.
