Hello. I currently do not own any bunnies, but am looking into to it. I wanted to get some more info. I have owned bunnies in the past ( An English lop and 2 mini lops). The English lop I showed in high school and really enjoyed it. The other two were just pets. What I would like to do is show. I have not decided what kind of bunny, but am leaning towards a small size. Like I said, still thinking about it. So that is the short of it, as far as the bunnies are concerned.

A little more about me. I am 26 (27 next week). I am a Lab Tech. I have a small PomChi named Sophie (2 yrs) and 2 ferrets. And yes I know and understand the whole prey vs predator, like I said- just thinking and researching. I did foster ferrets for a very brief time, but am on my own and it was just too much, sadly.

So any help would be welcomed. Thanks!

Thanks! You know I was thinking about it and I think that Rex was a French lop. It was 9 years ago. Any ideas on a good bunny breed? Small size, fluffy or smooth.

Well, you need to look at all the different small breeds.lol There are so many. I like the lops, the lionheads(although you can't show them yet), the mini rex,
the dwarf hotot, and the netherland. I think that's all the
different breeds I've had. Small breeds. I also like the fuzzy lop and the jersey wooley(sp?).

Mini Rexes seem very popular. I also like the Mini Satin (though I'm more partial to the full-sized Satins). There's also the Polish and the Britannia Petite. The ARBA has a listing of all the recognized breeds on their website.

Thanks for the info. Sadly yesterday I was laid off. So no bunny shopping for me for awhile. But I think I will stay on here so that I can get the info that you guys can offer.
