Hello, I am new to this site. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stacie. I live in Phoenix and I started raising and caring for rabbits in June of 2007. Since then I have purchased over thirty different rabbits. My personal favorite is the Mini Lop. Recently I found the Velveten Lop and have decided to concentrate on raising and breeding them. My children love the Mini Rex. My husband loves the Flemish Giant, French Lop, and English Lops. In addition, I also have a few Holland lops. Well hello, everyone

Oooh, we have a few members here that love Velveteen Lops, one of them lives in AZ too!

I love Mini Rex, used to have a darling one, she was a broken, the one in my avatar.

I have a Holland Lop currently, I can't remember what his color is called though:?. He's a very cool bun though!

Have you purchased the buns from shelters and rescues or breeders? If you can, it's best to rescue buns that need homes and are in danger of being euthanized.

I have purchased some of my rabbits from rabbit breeders at the rabbit shows that I have attended. I have also purchased other rabbits from a local feed store. We purchased our first four rabbits last year from a local feed store. Since that time I have purchased about thirty. Different forms of Lops. I recently came across the Velveteen Lops at a recent show. They are perfect for my children (Mini Rex) and for myself (Lops). Not to mention they are the friendliest rabbits that we own.

I have two harlequin, two fawn and one blue? I am also having trouble locating them close to me. I usually find them at the shows that I attend. I am new to rabbit breeding and raising. My theory is since I am new and the Velveteen Lop is relatively new, they are the breed I want to concentrate on.

A heads up...there is two bunny shows in Prescott Valley, AZ on Sept. 18th & Sept. 27th. I will be there and hopefully you will be too with your bunnies. I would LOVE to pet a Velveteen Lop....I really admire this breed of bunny, they are gorgeous.

I did not know there were two shows in September. I am purchasing one from CA and I will be pickinghim up on August 31. The other two females I will be picking up at the Show on Sept. 27. I am located in Phoenix. I am also new to this. For me it has only been one year and four months. Nice to meet you.

Oh, I have always wanted to go to Australia. It has been a dream of mine for over twenty-five years. One day I will go. I want to hold a Koala Bear. They are my favorite animal. Hello.

This AZ breeder has Velveteens, but is currently not breeding them...it looks like. It might be worth a shot, though, to email her and see what her breeding plans are. You may be able to get some VL stock from her.
