Hello my name is Christopher,I am 13 years old and thinking of getting a pet:happybunny:.
I have found some rabbits in shelters and might adopt one soon :biggrin2:
Do any of you have some info about rabbits to help me out?Or recommend any youtube videos about rabbits :expressionless?Been having trouble finding good info on them so some good info would be appreciated :biggrin2:.

We recommend that you do some reading. A very good one is "Rabbits for Dummies". It's one of many in our library.

I haven't seen it in the library i live close tnly at borders book store.I could buy it though i guess.

Libraries are usually linked, so, if it's not on the shelf they still might be able to get it from another location. We usually check amazon and other sites for books before we hit the retail outlets.

Welcome to RO!

There's lots of good information right here on this forum! Check out the "Behavior and Nutrition" and "Housing and Environment" sections for starters. Once you've looked around, don't be shy about asking questions (and don't forget the "Camera Corner" if you have any questions about taking pictures of your bun - that the section I'm a moderator for). There are lots of people on here who can give you answers to pretty much anything.

You should also check out the House Rabbit Society website - http://www.rabbit.org/ - they have lots of good information there. They publish the House Rabbit Handbook, which is a very good starter on taking care of house rabbits. You could get a copy through them or amazon, or your library might have one. I also like "Why does my rabbit...?" by Ann McBride, which is a guide to rabbit behavior (and don't forget to read the Language of Lagomorphs website - it's a fun guide to what rabbits are saying to us).

Once you get your rabbit, don't forget to share pictures with us!

Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.
