Anyone could help me identify what is this and how to get rid of them?

I believe it's a tick.
Can't really see the image too well. They can be found in long grass or hedges ect. They suck on an animals blood which can cause life threatening problems. I'm not absolutely sure that's what It is but might be worth checking the rabbits fur to check for them.

This is what a tick looks like.

To me it looks like a quite regular beetle, not a tick or flea. I doubt parasites would be in the hay in any noticeable numbers.
