Hello! A fried of mine has been telling me to join for a while and I just kept forgetting. I have raised rabbits the majority of my life, though I took 5 years off and just started again 2 years ago. We currently have Satins, Mini Lops and Mini rex. Our satin's are Buster and Sage. Our Mini lops are Alex, Wall-E, Ninja and Eva. Our mini rex are Dew and Jane. We currently have four 10 week old mini lops, Seven 2week old mini lops, and four 2 week 3 day old mini rex. Have already been enjoying looking at everyones cages, and cute bunnies!

how do I go about posting a picture? if I just copy the img url from photobucket will that work? I am going to try that. I tried the upload image button earlier and nothing happened.

Yup, just use the square bracket img ] code, but make sure the photos are properly sized first :)

Welcome to the forum.

I will try this with my boys first then if it works my girls and the babies!
Wall-E -Broken Black - my newest Mini lop buck. He is only four months old so I am waiting to see how he looks as he grows.

Alex - chestnut Agouti- I love this guy. He is such a sweet rabbit, very quiet and calm.

Dew - Cedar Bluff's Dew - Broken Black Mini Rex buck - had a promising show career before an incident with Hershey a Polish buck we had - he got his lip through a cage divider. It healed fine, but is missing a small spot in the middle, easily noticed if looked at from straight on. So he is just going to be my herd buck.

Buster - Siamese Satin - Buster is an awesome guy. He is calm and quiet when held, and is very curious when he gets his turn to run in either of the pens we let them out in for running time.

Okay hopefully that worked

Yay it worked! Okay then here are the girls!

Eva - short for Evalina - Solid Black Mini lop doe - My sister suggested the name because when I got her (I got her for free from Craigslist, because the people who had her got her from the neighbor who where neglecting her and she would get out of he cage all the time and they would catch her and take her back. One day they asked if they could keep her and let them. Even gave her pedigree, they had got her for 4-H then the kids had changed their minds) She lived with these people for a few months but they had a 4 year old house bunny buck (unaltered) and soon both bunnies where getting bitey and trying to claw at them and growling. They where kept separate but in the same room and I honestly think it was being able to be that close to each other but not have kits. I also think the people they got her from had bred her before. After a month at our house and being out in the fresh air she was a totally different bunny. No growling, no biting, even sets still for petting/brushing. She is a pretty girl and we just recently bred her to Alex. She now has seven cute little mini lop kits. So now we call her Eva (pronounced like in the movie WALL-E) that is how our buck Wall-E got his name.

Jane -Smith's Nightmares - Black Otter Mini Rex - Despite her long name she is one of my favorite rabbits. She is such a aggreable little thing. She loves her daily treats, enjoys a good pet, and likes her time to run around in the exercise pens. She is also a great mother.

Her and Dew's kits- First litter born on July 13th - Last liter born on September 13th- 4 kits each litter- first wall all brokens including a Broken Black silver martin. Current litter is 2 solid black otter and 2 broken
I will be keeping at least one kit from this breeding to keep to show next spring. I had planned to with the first litter but had more people interested then kits, so I waited.
