Hello everyone!

My name is Katie, and I am a new bunny momma to a gorgeous little boy, whose name is Edward. I have had him for almost 2 months now, and I'm very much in love.

He has the softest white coat, with calico-colored rings around his eyes and a similar pattern on his ears and some of his tail. He's a total snuggle-bug who seems determined to chew every hem off of any clothing he comes into contact with, though a small sound of disapproval and an immediate distraction usually stops all that.

I've been spending alot of time online researching hedgehogs (my husband has recently found a new friend in a little hedgie named Charley) and realized that beyond reading a half-dozen books, I didn't really have all the information I could on rabbits.

So here I am, scouting for info and other fun rabbit people to talk to!

~Katie

WELCOME Katie!!! U will Love this site. Oodles of info and the ppl here are FABULOUS. There is a gr8 section for everything. Also we LOVE pics of your Bunny's.

Hi Denise! ^_^

Where should I post pictures? I see the photo forum, but it seems like all of the topics are themed. Is there a place I can post random pictures of my bunny?

Well for starters I'd post pics here. then if u want to you can start a blog about your buns and post more randoms there too. U can check out other ppls blogs in the Bunny Blog section.

Thanks for the info!

Here is my best picture of my little guy, it's from a couple of weeks ago and he's gotten a little bigger since then:

He loves to hop around on the couch with us while we watch TV in the evenings. The rest of the time he's either chilling in his hutch having a nap, or following me around the house while I take care of my daily housework.

^_^ Thanks for the compliment, I read it to him.

I found another picture, this one more recent, of him playing with the hedgehog:

His colors are a little more defined and he's gotten a little bigger. He's in love with the house mix our local pet store makes for their bunnies, and likes to play chase (he chases me) so he stays nice and lean!

Oh wow there is huge difference in the pics. And your hedgie is a little cutie too. So how did u find out about this forum???

I was looking through a list of rabbit fancier forums and settled on this one because it looks like there are alot of active members here.

I've recently joined a forum for hedgehogs, and thought I should be fair and find a good virtual home for my bunny too. Plus, my husband's not the biggest animal enthusiast even though he likes them, so I needed a place I could talk about all the cool/cute things my animals do...

I'll probably wind up starting a blog here so I can regale everyone with my animal stories. *grin*

 bit like the pound/euro:X:X it might be a tad far for you but if you are ever passing saarbrucken have a wander round the st johaanmarkt (think ive spelt it correctly) - really pretty with a great selection of bars and eateries!

wow - what a forum - bunny talk and tourism suggestions:biggrin2:

*sigh* as soon as I get my license! I've got a car but can't drive it, the penalties for that are super severe over here...

As for the multi-purpose forum, I think that I'm going to love it here!

:helloand :welcome1to RabbitsOnline. I am glad you found the site, Katie. RO is a very active, friendly and helpful website devoted to rabbits and their slaves. Edward is a very handsome bun.

Here are some good links to areas of the site you might find interesting, the Library section, full of good reference info, Bunny Blog, where you can keep everyone up to date on your bunny and your life as a bunny slave and if you bunny would like to ask questions of other buns the Bunny Chat is the spot to be. The regional forum is a good way to find a rabbit savvy vet or to post places where you get some of your supplies for your bun etc. For the lighter side and to give you a chuckle or two stop by the go to the Let Your Hare Down section for anything but bunny's.

You don't have to say what city your in but if you could update your profile withthe areayour in, may be likeNorth west Ohio, Canada, UK etc, that would help others provide you with info that may help you and your bunny.

If you would like to post pictures in your post this link How to put photo's in your posts will help explain that.

I hope I didn't overwhelm you with info. This is a wonderful site and I look forward to seeing pictures and reading some stories.

Dave
