Hi! My name is Cerina and I live in Dublin, Ireland. I have two rabbits at the moment a beautiful boy called Bunster and a feisty girl called Jessy. They are around 10 and 9 months old. Bunster was recently diagnosed with E.Cuniculi after some seizures but after being treated with Fenbendazole is coming on well. Jessy we bought from a pet shop as she was in bad shape and we couldn't just leave her there. She was INFESTED with mites and had hard faeces stuck to her feet (and was limping). She was in a tiny cage. The two are now bonded and are the best of pals! Here they are! Jessy is the brown one and Bunster is the smaller harlequin one.

Welcome to the forum Cerina:wave:. Bunster and Jessy are so cute. Sounds like the poor babies have had a rough go of it, but I'm glad they're doing much better:).

Feel free to start a thread in our Infirmary section for Bunster and his condition if he happens to start having any issues. There are some really great members here that can help you out if you should need any advice.

Take care!

:wave:Hi Cerina....your bunnies are just adorable.

I just lost my Pippi on the 26th Dec 07,through health issues due to having E.Cuniculi

Anyway welcome andi'm looking forward to hearing more about your two :)

Welcome :biggrin2:Your bunnies are gorgeous! Man, I hope you filed a complaint with that pet shop :nonono:That's just so wrong to make animals suffer like that.

Don't mind me... I'm not walking off with Bunster... :whistlingIt's very dangerous bringing a harlequin in here yanno...

Thanks for the lovely welcome everyone :biggrin2:

Ms. Binky i did indeed complain but nobody there seemed to care :( I no longer shop there for my supplies. I love harlequins too but funnily I didn't notive Bunster was one until I got him home lol. My bun Patches (went to the bridge last June) was a beautiful Harlequin too of the normal colour and it was pure coincidince that Bunster was too!

You have some adorable Bunnies!

Take care,

what cuties! and it will be helpful to hear about your experiences with EC, as it's a common worry around here.

...by the way,

the "Pet Shop" you got Jessy from,

it should be SHUT DOWN !!!

Places like that don't care about animals...
