Thank you everybody.

It is believed the enderby Island rabbit originated from the silver rabbit (or silver-grey) as opposed to the argent.

I personally don't believe in desexing my bunnies, but I do only breed when I want, I don't let them breed willy-nilly.

It takes me about an hour to feed and water the critters each day. Cleaning takes 2-3 hours...but usually takes longer as I play with them alot.

The feed bill isn't too bad...but then again I don't have kids to feed as well (tho my critters are my kids).

I did have common New Zealkand geckos, these were brought in by the cats. Its actually illegal in NZ to own native lizards without a permit. I kept them until I felt they were ok from the cats preditation, then I released them again.
