I've had Benny for about 2 months now. It took a couple weeks for him to trust me but he became very affectionate (gave me licks and would sit on my lap and run over and jump onto me when I was on the couch) he was also pleasant to my boyfriend but not as affectionate since I spent more time with him.

This weekend we took him to my parents house because they have a yard and I thought he would enjoy it. He seemed to have a great time he was running around the yard and eventually fell asleep under the car when he was ready for shade.

Since we brought him home though he has been very skittish and reclusive. He wants to be under the bed if possible or will go sit in a corner. He is eating and drinking normally and will allow me to pet him but he is displaying happy behaviors (binkies or cuddles) like he did before we took him. Also, he used to be fine when i picked him up and would come when i called now he runs away and hides when i try to get him.

I don't know if the experience was traumatizing when we took him ? Or if he is unhappy to be back in our apartment? He is a "freeroam" bunny and has had access to the apartment since we got him but he just seems unhappy now.

Please help... is it possible that he no longer likes us??

It could be possible that he is starting to mature already. When buns turn into "teenagers" they start to get moody and rebellious!( if not already fixed.) If he isn't fixed maybe talk to your vet on when a good time to do it is! I hope I was of help to you!

They probably dropped 2 months ago. Boy bunnys can suck them in. He could have also been mis sexed. Either way its hormones.

Once you get that very, very adorable bunny fixed, life with him WILL change for the better.
