Jim -
Make sure to tell us if your bun's like it! I've been buying Kleenmamas...
but since Sweat Meadows is cheaper and sounds just as nice I may have to switch.

The actual price per pound was about the same.
I think I got a lot of the savings because of the shipping cost.
Sweet Meadows is in Mass. Kleenmamas in in Wash.
I'm in NJ.
If you were to order from Sweet Meadow it would probably cost another $20 just for shipping.

I couldn't wait to give the buns some.
I only gave them a little bit to try out.
Most of them went right at it...the others were too busy snoozing. After all, it was afternoon and they're all usually resting at that time.
They're used to getting the main helping of hay at night.

I am picking up a 10 week old mini lop today. I was wondering if I could get something like this for her to munch on.

The ad states....

Heavy (50-60 lb+), string-tied square bales of quality mixed hay for $3.00 each. 135 bales available. $10 DISCOUNT IF YOU BUY AT LEAST 100. Also have 8 bales of last year's second cutting for $2.50 each. Thanks a lot!

Would that be acceptable for her? How would I store it so it doesn't go bad?

That sounds pretty good to me! One thing: in my experience, farmer's hay is more allergenic than pet store hay. So you may want to keep it in the garage if anyone in your house has allergies.

Thanks. I will have to pick some up next time. I already shelled out for some pet store kind. I had to get some because I was picking up my bunny and the farmer didn't get back to me in time....lol.
