Keep trying the treat test ... if she'll take a tiny bit of treat, she's coming out of it. (They do snap out of it pretty quickly).

What kind of Simethicone did you get?Probably worth one lastdropper full, you're within the limit. How much does she weigh again? My bunnies are all tiny, but the larger bunnies can actually take adult medication, the baby stuff may not be quite strong enough.

Did the pain meds surpress her appetite when she was on them before?

Well, tell her you're doing everything right and that she shouldn't be refusing to eat the :censored2:banana. :nono

If she's still in aLOTof pain and the vibrating/massaging/tipping/running or whatever you've been able to do isn't working, I'd go for the pain killer.

You're welcome. I hope she's okay. :expressionless

Is her tummy deflating?

When did she last eat or drink?EDIT: And poop? She'll probably need food and hydration prettyquick.

Good re: the water, that's what she needs. (If she's feeling a little cold, you can make it warm(ish) water).

I'm not totally sure where the swelling is and what it means, but thought I'd throw ina drawing of the bunny digestive organs, looking down on the rabbitlying on it's back.

It does sound like you may have a stasis bunny, the gas can be a symptom and a cause. The vet will know for sure, and give her some sub-q fluids and maybe a gut motility drug providing there isn't a blockage.

Now that she's taken the pain meds, you have to be careful they're not masking symptoms. She has to be eating and pooping to get an all clear, otherwise she should beat the vet as soon as you can get her in.

I'll give her more water now, I will also beg them to see her right away, her apt is at 1145, but they open at8. Thank you so much again.

That pic makes a lot of sence the buldge that i was feeling was on her left, when she was laying down and I was feeling her form the top. RIGHT after her rib cage ended, in that area.

Her stomach is smaller now for sure. I think the pain med is kicking in, because she is running around the room a little. Just gave her some warm water 20cc.

Still no poop/eat/drink.

30-45 minutes after she started pooping. We put her back in. I went to bed, my girl then fed her crtical care around 8-9.

Now they left to see the vet, I have to say at home (we have mild construction going on).

I'll have to explain over the phone to the vet about this hellish night.

Im sorry I missed this!

Sounds like you had a pretty rough night! You are such a great bunny dad. I'll be praying for the little sweetheart.

Please let us know how the appt goes

You missed out on so much fun. hehe. Like always thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Penny is now getting her teeth trimmed. Vet says there is still little gasy. So we'll see what he says.

Hehe, Pipp, thank for help through the night.

She is back. Not sure what caused her to statis but it could the combo of her sheding, her front teeth a bit long, she had a slight molar spur, and we got a little bit of contruction going on.Not too loud.

Anyways, vet said it was a good idea to give her simethicone for gas relief and torbutrol for pain. He gave her a fluid shot, and sent her home with cisapride and some other gas med.

I fed her critical care as she got home, and will leave her alone for a bit. Maybe feed her in about 3 hrs or so.

She hasn't pooped since the morning, and hasn't eaten on her own for awhile. This is her nap time too though, so we'll see.

Glad to hear that Penny is feeling much better! :D
