And the guy told me she was a boy so I named her Harvey then later found out she was a girl but I already got use to calling her Harvey so it stayed haha. Welcome!
She is so adorable! I'm glad you saved her from being snake food. I know snakes have to eat, but what is the attraction in keeping a pet that has to be fed adorable fuzzy creatures? I say leave pets like that to the zookeepers and scientists, personally.

Harvey appears to be a Dutch or Dutch mix. My Tony is a Dutch and has the typical markings. Harvey has some of them, but her one arm that's colored is considered a "mismark" for Dutches. I think it's adorable, it's not good for show bunnies. Her color is called gray in Dutches, but it is called agouti in other breeds--it's the same color as a wild bunny, and it contains all of the other colors that a bunny can be, like brown, black, grey, tan, etc. Dutches are known for being intelligent, fiesty, and personable. They have been around for a very long time.

:helloand :welcome1to RabbitsOnline. I am glad you found the site, Rissa. RO is a very active, friendly and helpful website devoted to rabbits and their slaves. Harvey is a beautiful bunny.

Here are some good links to areas of the site you might find interesting, the Library section, full of good reference info, Bunny Blog, where you can keep everyone up to date on your bunny and your life as a bunny slave and if you bunny would like to ask questions of other buns the Bunny Chat is the spot to be. The regional forum is a good way to find a rabbit savvy vet or to post places where you get some of your supplies for your bun etc. For the lighter side and to give you a chuckle or two stop by the go to the Let Your Hare Down section for anything but bunny's.

If you would like to post pictures in your post this link How to put photo's in your posts will help explain that.

I hope I didn't overwhelm you with info. This is a wonderful site and I look forward to seeing pictures and reading some stories.

Your rabbit is very cute!

Someone said that Dutch rabbits are fiesty and personable? haha how can they be both?

Well, I find that Tony likes my company, but likes to have his own way and get into trouble. This bunny is insane, to be honest. He'll do something he's not supposed to, then look over at me and wait for me to say something or spay him with water, and when I do he binkies off in a fit of happiness at being caught doing something wrong! He loves to climb on people and explore them, but he will try to re-arrange your shirt for you too. He also LIKES being chased when it's bedtime. He'll binky away like it's a game. He loves to be petted, any time, of any day, and will give you the sad eyes if you stop. He'll sit near you on the floor just to have your company. That's why I say he's personable and fiesty. In addition, I've heard a lot of stories about Dutches getting into trouble, but also being snuggle-bunnies.

Nawww, I was hoping that he would be 6 foot, three and a half inch white rabbit :(

Cute though!
