I noticed yesterday that Harry had a weepy eye. There was no actual discharge but the fur around his eye was damp. I took him to the vet today. I thought it might have been a reaction to his myxi jab last week or conjunctivitis.
The vet had a good look in his eye and thought there was some pus there. On closer inspection, it was a piece of straw. Thankfully he was able to remove it and Harry is a lot happier now! The vet has given me some cream to put in his eye twice a day to avoid infection. I'm so glad I took him to the vet! Poor Harry - he must have been in some pain and discomfort but his eye is looking a lot better and he is much happier.
