(I heard on the radio recently that in Ireland, Guinness is now considered something "old people" drink?)
Ya it kind of is a 50+ drink.
WHAT? 50+ ?? I want to know what younger people drink then too - this is news to me! lol
Oh God you don't want to know = way too much anyhow!

They drink beers and stuff like heinkein, bulmers, budweiser and young girls (mainly say my age to 25 or 30) drink WKD, Vodka, Bacardi Breezers, you know, stuff like that.

Well, I'm only 33, but I love Guinness. I prefer beers that have a fuller (but not bitter) flavor. Too bad it's fairly expensive here. :( And I love the creamy mouth feel of it. I've got another one chilling in the fridge right now. :p

I'm the same BethM - I love Guinness too and I'm in Irishbunny's age range... I enjoy other drinks too. The fact that younger people are drinking beers like Budweiser blows me away! But I guess younger people, different tastes?

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :clover:

I never tried it (Guinness), but I don't drink. Funny thing, I worked as a bartenderpart time back in the 80's.;)

I did wear something green today. :D

I can't drink... I can taste alcohols and maybe have a sip, but I am allergic to it. It's a family allergy (thanks, mum!). I am the only one who can't drink, though. :(

I can drink if I want to and I do like the taste of alcohols, but I am not use to it and my face turns all red, :blushan: and it wouldn't take much before I am under the influence.

I know a lady who can't even eat the chocolatesthat havealcohol in them.

I can drink a little, but my arms go numb. :( It feels like morphine in my system (I've had surgeries and morphine afterward. It was legal!) It is the tensing feeling and the dizziness that I get. Plus, it burns my throat and I turn all red. I went and played skee-ball at a local arcade for my 21st birthday. :p St. Patty's is kind of boring when everyone else is hammered and you have to listen to their drunken "conversations". :grumpy:
