Had to Say Goodbye :(

So, yesterday, I had to say goodbye to 2 babies in the litter we had. They went to a pet store because we couldn't find homes for them. I had not wanted this originally, but we couldn't find homes and the pet store was very good. The workers there were very smart with rabbits, and it was clear they knew how to handle them well, (unlike so many other places!) The cages there were very clean, and the bunnies seemed content and relaxed. Even though I know these people will make sure they go to good homes, I can't help but miss the little babies i've grown to love!! As i look down at my hand, I see all the scratches from 8 weeks of raising 4 baby bunnies, and i know every scratch was worth it. So, its a bittersweet time for us

Sorry you had to say goodbye, but maybe it will make you feel a little better knowing that someone is gonna walk up see those little bunnies, and give them a wonderful home.Imagine how happy you will make those people when they pick up those bunnies and take them home.

So sorry that you had to give them to the pet store I know how hard it is to give up something that you love. They will always be on your mind.
