Was in the bedroom watching TV, and had just fedthe babies.A sidenote is that they are likepiranhasat dinner time! I hear this weird noisesomewhat like choking and sneezing at the same time. I jumpoff the bed to figure out who and what was happening! Thebabies are flying all over the room, then all of a sudden Baby D fliesup on the bed ( something she can not ordinarily do) It took me acouple of seconds to catch her, because she was panicking. Ilook at her and her whole face is covered in clear mucous and she isgasping for air. Without even thinking I grab my shirt (NEW)and try to clear her airway, pry her mouth open to see if there is anyblockage that I could see, but no nothing was there. I toreoff my shirt and wrapped her up in it to keep her from panicking anyfurther. Was able to clean up her nose a little more and thegasping seemed to subside. I sat with her for a few minutesshe calmed down and her breathing went back to normal, she sneezed therest of the mucous out and was fine.

I'M NOT!!!

I was scared half to death, as we do not have a car, I don't drive andmy husband can't drive. So after talking with my friend wenow have an emergency plan made out.

My husband says I am braver than I look, who else would stick herfinger in a panicking bunnies mouth, and do you know what? Iwould do it again without a second thought.

So, now she is acting fine and back to eating and drinking.

I have to wonder if her face got pushed into the bowl by one of the other babies and she inhaled pellet dust or something?!?!

An emergency averted thank god!

oh my gosh that is VERY scary!

Hoping baby D is okay, poor thing. As my mum would say, "Heart Attack Central!"

not to take away from your story, but something happened to me today, and i really thought i was gonna die.

i was driving to work on the highway today, in heavy rain, and a hugefreightliner truck was riding me so close i couldn't even read hisplate #. so i showed him my hand. (minus 3 fingers and a thumb) and heflashed me. i was going 90 kilometers an hour and someone was in frontof me. i however was behind a reasonable space, 2 car lengths. hecontinued to ride me close, then moved into the other lane andproceeded to push his way into my lane from beside me. he continuedthis for about 5 kilometers, swerving and trying to force me over. buti couldn't move, another car was beside me, and one behind me.

i got my cell phone to call my mum, when he had lagged behind. i wantedmy mum to write down his plates, then he started again following mesooooo close. well i guess he saw me on the phone and backed off. ireally should have called the police, but i was freaking out.

i am going to report to the police after work still, but WOW. this lunatic could have really killed me.

i'm still kinda weirded out...

i was on the QEW going eastbound. i used to think it was safer than the 401!

And both the cab and trailer were unmarked.

irishmist: ACK! Ok I was panicing with you whilereading your post. Poor little Baby D!!! Glad you got thingsunder control, he's such a sweet thing.

nicky: I saw a truck driver run someone off the road 2 cars ahead of melike 2 days ago and was in too much shock to even react to it, I wasdriving watching it happening thinking "Oh my god, this isn'treal....". Luckily there was a huge shoulder and the person swerved offand wasn't hurt. Reminded me of that when you were tellingyour story! Glad things turned out ok in the end. *whew*

:shock:OMG! Poor baby! I don't know that I would have stayed ascalm as you did. I wonder if she started to gag and then sneezed itout... but gagging wouldn't cause all that mucus... the mucus wouldalready have to be present fromsomething. My dog does that "backwards sneeze" thingsometimes. My vet said it's like an allergic reaction. Kind of likepeopleclearing their throats. It sounds like she's gaggingwhen she does it. I wonder if bunnies do that??
