I keep a seperate e-mail for all my interenetinteractions. So anytime I post an online add, I use thate-mail address. It just makes it a bit easier with all theinternet scamming stuff.

Also, I always ask to speak to the person on the phone, and that theycome in person to see the bunnies (or mouse in this case...).And if they are unwilling to talk on the phone with me or coming inperson, then I refuse to do any further interaction with them.

It all sounds a little bit scary and odd to me. Willy is absolutely lovely and I'm sure you'll find him a great home soon.

I had a thought when I was reading this thread. Ifpeople lovepets so much and really want one, surlythey'd be able to findone in the local area. My vets has lots of adverts upforanimals free to good homes. Orthey could get onefrom apet shop in the local area. Anybody who loves animalswould surly not want them to be posted halfway around the world! PoorWilly :?

Maybe you could try putting adverts up locally somewhere?

How strange...not to mention they sound the same. Hmm...weird.

Hopefully someone you can actually MEET and see if they're a goodperson or not will respond. And hopefully you won't getanymore weirdo letters.

Oh, P.S. Your Willy is so cute...:)

Is there anyway to create anadoptioncontract or something if you find him a home? Likesold healthy, for pet only ect? I know they do this with some rabbitadoptions. Then you have in writting if something happends ect.?

I know how you feel, When I do have a litter ofFlemish Giants for sale I list it on my website and I will get strangeemails, I put in bold letter everywhere I DO NOT SHIP, so I get emailsfrom Texas, and Florida, and out east, no where near Minnesota, butwhen it comes to emails from people that do not use at least semiproper grammer and spelling (personally I'm pretty bad at both) I willjust delete them. If they can't take the time to write upanice email to inquire about a rabbit they just aren't good enough formy rabbits...period. I know that sounds harsh but believe me, "I likeur rabbitz, I wan em for pet, how much?" does not say I have the timeand resources to properly care for animal for 5-10 years tome. JMO as well :D

Oh Brother people (the ones sending the emails)this IS NOT a fruitcake we're talking about here...it's a MOUSE, anANIMAL in case you didn't know...grr how dumb of some people to want tosend a mouse across country...

Good luck with the adoption, I hope you find someone....someone real, that cares about your MOUSE (who is NOT a dog). BTW hes soCUTE. Makes me want a mouse!

I wonder if these people from overseas know youcan't buy an animal from the States and have it "shipped". The animalwill end up in quarantine for MONTHS on end. I'm sure they have mice inEurope? No? Sorry I think those people must think it's some sort ofjoke to waste your time.

Oh man I wish I was closer! he is a doll! I just looooooove rodents.

My 4 year old dwarf hamster is not looking too well anymore. It will behard to see her go. I have had her since she barely had fur.

I know the feeling... I have my two rat girls are who are both 3 yearsold, and they are starting to slow down, there hair in thinning alittle, and they aren't as active as they used to be. I know they aregetting into their senior months, and it'll be hard to see them go...but they were both snake food rescues, andI know they've hada wonderful life with me.
