Greeting jac!

Bless you for rescuing that little fuzzie!!!

We use Purina Complete Blend Rabbit Chow (alfalfa based - green bag) for pellets. Oxbow pellets are good, too.

Timothy hay is KayTee. Oxbox is also good. Hay is hay, but quality differs.

Treats: raisins, craisins, bananas, pears, apples, oats

Greens: romaine, parsley, cilantro, basil, dandelion

And of course WoodyPet for litter/bedding.

Welcome! And *HUGS* to all the rescuersout there. I also have 2 bunnies that have been rescued froma reptile show (Daisy my holland lop -- her parents are actuallypedigree and Orion my brand new baby who just came on Sunday).

I also feed Kaytee Timothy Complete. I'm very happy withit. I manage a pet store, so I'm able to order it in and makesure it is really fresh. I have seen it in some stores whereit doesn't look that fresh tome. The pellets shouldbe greenish, not brown. If you have this problem, I wouldsuggest going to a feed store and requesting that they order them infor you. I use Kaytee Timothy hay as well. AlthoughI'm getting ready to try Oxbow. I have seen lists here forgood foods, but I am unable to find any of them in my area, although Ikeep looking and my store is small, so we order from just a couple ofcompanies and none of them carry those foods either.

Do you know how old your bun is? I know that often at reptileshows they do not know how old the buns are. Daisy came froma family who was getting out of rabbit raising, so they decided to sellthem at the show, they were marked "pets only" but for the price Ipaid, I know people would have bought for food. The "evilman" (as I call him) who I got Orion from said he was 5 weeks and myvet basically agreed.

Good Luck! I hope you are happy here.

Jen
