He has a wide variety and selection of toys and does not play with them, I am confused:p do some rabbits just not play with toys?? he is more preoccupied with climbing my couch, chewing and digging and no he isn't fixed yet. Might he be more interested in the toys when he is neutered??

Some bunnies just aren't interested in playing with certain toys. If he enjoys digging and climbing, you could try making him cardboard box castle to explore. Something he can dig in and destroy.

You may have to experiment with different toys. Make some digging boxes, some grass mats for chewing or anything else you can think to engage him.

He may also just have more fun playing with you. Jumping up on the couch for visits. I have one bunny who's sole purpose of play time is to find the comfiest place to have a nap or beg for food in the kitchen.

:p I actually already have made a cardboard castle for him, he thouroughly enjoyed it and destroyed it, he now has a new one. The toys I got for him are mainly chewing and tossing toys, like a ball made of edible straw and grass and a bundle of apple naturally flavored twigs, which i thought were geared to his interests..lol

I have an intact 4 month old who doesn't care too much about toys either.
If it's new he checks it out for about 1 minute then goes off to cause trouble, like chew on his cage bars. :twitch:
I'm wondering if them not being neutered has something to do with it? That or they just aren't big 'toy' bunnies. Felix is due to be neutered soon so I will let you know if I see a difference. One thing that does occupy his mind is food, so I give him Timothy Hay Cubes and they keep him busy for a while.

Yea Gizzy loves those timothy cubes too:p and maybe your right, they may not be "Toy" bunnies, but do let me know how your boy reacts to the neuter that would be great;)
