Hi,any advice on grooming please.I have 2 flemish giants 1 Yr old.Mizla actively attacks with front paws if she sees any type of grooming implement.I have tried her in a carrier with lid off, just blocking her exit with my arm, someone else holding her,and nothing works. If I groom Hobi she will pound my hand if she can till I drop the implement.I have never forcibly restrained her or been rough.
Any ideas please?

I'd suggest skipping any grooming instruments then. It could be that one such instrument caused discomfort/pain and now they associate any others with same. Until that memory can be long forgotten, try just using your hand (or damp hand) to pet them. The petting will draw out the loose fur too but in a (hopefully) non-objectionable way.

Damp hand worked with most of ours. Serena, our 20+ pound Checkered Giant loved attention and being pet--she was a lap rabbit, so she did not mind being brushed at all. Only problem was I had to clean out the brush about 20 times to do the job with her.

Wish mine loved petting,it would make everything easier.A gentle stroke on the side is about it.

Train your rabbit or your rabbit will train you! Our new boy Taco is getting better about being handled--he has no choice, so he is getting better and will improve over time. Noodle really likes attention--polar opposite of Taco--also 2 years younger.
