I decided today that I'd rather be safe thansorry with Kiara. I've never actually been able to go with her to thevet because I was always busy the day my brother-in-law happened to begoing out to that area. I'd like a second opinion on her eyes and sincethis one is in town, I can go with her.

I'll tell them what I've been told, take the drops she's been givenalready along, tell them what I think it may be and get their opinionson it.

It may just be a cronic problem that wont go away and hopefully isn'tpainful. I can live with that but I'd rather know that her eye problemwas nothing serious than pay for it later.

I've already decided that if it's a simple cronic problem, I will keepher still. I just had to dry her eyes twice a day in the winter.

Goodluck and I think you are doing the right thing by going in, that way you can ask as many questions as you want etc,

keep us up to date on how you go ;)

I'm glad people agree it's the right thing todo. Although the vet I've used up to now is great and does know themedications rabbits can't have, etc., he does not treat that manyrabbits for anything other than conjunctivitis, and spaying orneutering so he doesn't know all the specifics about the certainproblems they can encounter.

My parents seem to think another vet is a waste of money but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Completely agree...you definitely should get a second opinion.
