Oh, oh yes! Young married woman here! OMG you should have seen our first apartment. It was huge and soooooo empty. So we took all free furniture offers from family, even the really nasty sawdust covered couch. Hey, it was a reclining couch! I just had to spend all day and a steam cleaner rental to get it decent. That's way cheaper than buying a couch! In fact, I still have it. It's butt ugly but it's not in my living room so I don't care. I also still have the burnt orange 70's couch from Goodwill, my very first furniture purchase after graduating college. It's like... sentimental and stuff. It's so ugly it's cool.
Come to think of it, we we haven't bought a single stick of new furniture. Garage sales, charity stores, and friends/family only. Although we have upgraded to better pieces and given the older ones to others. Pass on the love! Hmm, maybe I should join a Freecycle group!
And Zin, honey, I love you!:bunnyheart

Free stuff = you don't complain.
Errik's mom called him asking if we wanted her dining room table. He told her we'll have to look at it first while I'm wildly shaking my head and mouthing "WE WANT IT YOU IDIOT!!!" after he hung up he asked me what we'll do if it's ugly...my reply...IT'S FREE!! Who cares what it looks like.
