I have 2 German rabbits living in the states! We were stationed in Germanyy about a year and half ago. Wouldnt mind living there again. What brought you to London?

I came to london 3 years ago to study. I really miss it now and can't wait to go back. Did you travel all the way with your bunnies? How did that work?

Yes indeed. Shya was about 3 years old when she flew and Kai was like 5 months when he flew. They did just fine. Shya isnt really bothered by anything. Kai was pretty stressed but chilled out once he got home and settled. Kai is a Deutsch Riesen I got from a breeder in Speyer.

My husband is snotty now and only drinks german beer. We can't find a good Doner place to save our lives and boy do I miss all of the festivals. My all time favorite things are the christmas markets and the ostermarkts. Oh man I could reminisce all day!

I'm already scare to fly with my buns to Germany when I want to move back but maybe I'm just overprotective... Or crazy ;)

Oh I miss all those things too. Christmas markets especially And proper glühwein.

You said Gluwein! I brought back about 30 bottles of wine when we moved. I love Eiswein and thats mostly what my collection consisted of. The hubster loves hot kinderpunch more than anything. They served it at his work one time and he was knocking children out of the way to get some. His boss bought him several bottles when we moved.

Um I was trying to be calm when I took all the animals down to the pet shippers but there were a lot of tears going on. They werent going to let me put hay in there for them and I was worried about a 12 hour plan ride with no gut movement. There was an older gentleman who took pity on me and let me put a little in with each bun. They had a lot of pellets attached though. And if you take water and freeze it, as it melts the rabbit will get to drink. As opposed to a leaky water bottle (it will leak) or just regular water that will spill during all the movement. You and your buns will have to be at the airport early and you dont want them to run out so quickly. Thankfully its only like a four-ish hour flight. I wont tell you not to worry because you will and you should. After all thats what good bun mamas do. But they will be fine!

The flight to Germany wouldn't be so long. Only just 2h and I believe the might be able to stay in the plane with me. But I'm going to worry about it when the time comes. It's still probably 1-2years away.

Have you got any plans to visit Germany again then?
