Funny bunny Anecdotes.

I often see my buns do something funny that I want to share, but tht doesn't warrant a whole thread, so I thought maybe we could all share them and have a joint thread for them..

I'll start.

In true Badger style he saw my sparkly things for card making and stuck his nose and an proceeded to munch. Luckily I caught him quickly and pulled the one out of his mouth, but anyone would have thought I'd given him a food bowl, lol.

We live in an old farmhouse that has been remodeled. It's one story and my great-aunt's family actually built it - we found that out after we moved in.

We have mostly wood floors, the rabbits aren't allowed on the carpet due to chewing, but they have their own RUG in their room..... Due to certain members of our family who think poos belong under the window near the wall..... we have to keep a vent closed and the rug is placed over it to block the poos from going into the vent....

One day I noticed that Bo was just floofed up - you know - sort of meatloafed but puffier? and I thought maybe something was wrong..... so I go and pick him up.

It seems that even with the vent closed and covered, the heat warms the vent cover and voila! Instant heated beddy bye for a bunny!

His butt was toasty warm - he was just napping LOL!

Miss Dori has the nose of a hounddog! I was in the kitchen, at least 10 feet away from her cage, I started to eat a banana and she started going bonkers! When I finally gave her a little piece, you would swear she was about to have a heart attack from excitement, she was fiending so bad I couldn't stop laughing, standing up on her hind legs, going around in circles, etc, hehe, I have found her bunny crack

These are great! Keep them coming! All your buns do silly things, let's hear them!

Sky was just sitting in my arms being stroked, and dad started to sing and Sky lept out of my arms and sat right in front of him and played the captive audience, lol. Random.

I like how your dad has a personal bunny audience...... he must be good at singing!

Oh I also love Dori's bunny races. Some days she doesn't want to really venture outside of her house, she just hangs out all day. Then some days she is dying to get out and chewing on the bars until I open the door. but my favorite is when she is just mellow, hanging out in her house, and suddenly out of nowhere she gets this burst of energy and leaps out of her house and runs a couple of really fast circles around the living room and the couch and finally slows down and just plops down by the glass sliding door,

We say they just can't contain their HAPPY anymore!

My apartment bunny I had when I first got married, Scooter, had his own room due to his bad spraying self. I would let him out to play, and when I would be sitting on the floor cleaning his cage, he would sneak up behind me real slow. Then, when he thought I wasn't looking, he would steal either the poop scoop, or the bag of bedding, and take off across the room with it!

He would get to the other side of the room, turn around and look at me, and flip his ears and binky, like Ha! Pulled one over on you! You could almsot hear him laughing.

mochi loves the jumbo wicker balls we get her and one time she chewed through the ball, basically creating a tunnel through the ball and it got stuck around her neck! she panicked and tried to shake it off of her neck, fortunately my bf saw what was happening and quickly saved her from her own embarassment. it was a hilarious sight!

Poor thing! I know that our favorite grocery has paper bags with handles on them. I try to remember to rip the handles off but one day Tony got one around his neck. He hopped all over trying to get the bag monster to stop following him! it was SCAWWWWWEEEEE! :shock: but Mama saved him

Ha ha, both of those remind me of when Flash was 'helping' me wrap presents and stepped on a piece of sellotape, he took off across the room and somehow got it stuck on his whiskers too whilst doing that.

He ran round and round and then came back to me as if to say 'well, that was fun, can you get it off now', lol.

winnie is addicted to crinkly things, if it crinkles, she is all over it.

the other night my roommate was wrapping a few presents and winnie just couldn't get over the noise that tissue paper makes when you step on it, every time jessica would lay out a new sheet, winnie would walk all over it happy as can be because she was making beautiful music. i would here my roommate mutter "you little sh***, now i have to get out a whole new peice" over and over again. . .

Jess always nudges me with her nose I assume this is because I am in her way and move for her.. She will nudge me again so I assume this is because she wants strokes, so I reach out to stoke her and she runs off, she will do this most night over and over again until she flops out infront of the fire.

And also when she jumps on the sofa when we are sat on it and then jumps up on to the back of it so she is higher up than us and she will sit up straight and look at us with her nose twitching away, I think she is trying to tell us she is above us commoners sat low down on the sofa hehe
