my bunnies live in their cage 24/7, hehe... but it's more of a paradise than a cage. they've got about 70 square feet, not counting their condo (which has improved a bit since I took this pic). you can see the store-bought "rabbit cage" in the center that I haven't taken away from them yet - I dunno how anyone could EVER keep a rabbit in just one of those things alone!

rabbits can be litter-box trained so they can run loose when you're home as long as you bunny-proof stuff, though (mine are just too little to fully train)

NICE set up Jennifer! I only wish I had that amount of space to give mine a nice big area like that.

I had a xpen.. i lent it to a friend and never got it back, but she needed it more than I did..

I need to get another one, fast!

What kind of xpen is that? I love the room it gives you!

the taller one (along the back) is http://www.petco.com/product/113679/WARE-Clean-Living-Small-Animal-Playpen.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch. it has wider panels and is 5'' higher, so better for a large bunny that likes to jump.

http://www.petco.com/product/113062/WARE-Small-Animal-Playpen.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch is the second one, it's 24'' high instead of 29'', but the panels are more narrow (making it easier to form multiple corners with a single length of playpen) and the overall length/the diameter if you make a circle out of one is a good bit bigger.

I ended up with 1 of each 'cause when I bought my first set of pens, I bought them from petsmart in-store and they only had one of each in stock when I needed two total. one of each type + the 2x3 grid condo + a 1Wx2H NIC "panel" fills an 8'x10' tarp perfectly (so it's 3 grids x 3 grids for one corner), so it worked out pretty well :p

petco's having a massive sale - the playpens are 20% off right now AND they have free shipping on orders of $49 or more. it's the perfect time to buy pens!
