Finally, got my lip pierced!

My daughters tatoo is a crown (black, purple, and white) and under it is her first and middle initials B K.. I really like it...she wanted it for a year ... Hubby finally gave in... she wanted one on her neck but we mad her get it where it could be covered up.. I have 2 tatoos and so does her father. anything else she gets will have to wait until she is 18.

That sounds nice! I think it's good to have a long wait before getting a tat, just so you're sure. My parents wouldn't let me get any tattoos or piercings, I wasn't even allowed my ears done until I was 15!

I haven't got anything pierced, my left ear hole has long closed up and my right one is a long slit from being ripped open .

When I was a teenager I so badly wanted my tongue and eyebrow done, it was the 'cool' thing to do and I needed some cool points. Mum wouldn't let me so instead I did weird things with my hair. It was really long and I'd make it into all sorts of funky shapes.

My mum had her belly button done about 5 years ago, she said it didn't hurt one bit. Every year for her birthday I get her a really nice new bit of jewellery for it.

That sounds horrible about your ear. I don't even want to imagine the pain...I've had one slightly torn, and once got an earring knocked out and that hurt bad enough!

Maybe you should treat yourself to a new one!

I like to keep an open mind about things...so I just sat here, and literally thought about where I would get a piercing if I got one...and couldn't think of one. I have the same problem with tattoos...

I have a tattoo (butterfly on my outer right ankle), and I want another one (the pic in my avatar), but can't think for the life of me where to put it. I would want it somewhere that wouldn't show with conventional dress, but somewhere I could also see it whenever I wanted. *sigh*

BUT...this is not to say that I necessarily have a problem with piercings...I think ya'll are really brave for getting them!
