Well ... I finally found some bunnies to suit me ! I'm getting some Flemish Giants in late July / early August. They'll be just weaned babies.

Anyway, what and how much should they be fed ? From beginning (baby) throughout their life. Please include any minerals and or supplements that I should have ... I need to be sure I have everything "in order" for their arrival. I'm gonna go look at some nice hutches soon ... and decide on wether I'm gonna buy one already made, or just build one myself.

Approx how much does it cost to feed (including feed, minerals, everything) 2 Flemish Giants ? (full grown)

They won't need any mineral or vitamin supplements so long as you have them on a good quality feed. Look for a timothy based pellet feed, nothing that has any colored bits in it. I keep my Flemish on pretty much unlimited feed until they are about 8 months old, and then gradually back it off to about 1 cup a day. They will also need lots and lots of hay. I would recomend looking in your area for a farmer with cattle or horses, and see if they would sell you hay by the bale. (The smaller rectangle bales, not the huge circle ones.) I pay between $3-4 per bale, and it lasts my 25 rabbits about two weeks, give or take. It's far more cost efficient than buying it in the petstore, and is usually better quality.
