Thanks for bumping this up!

In China it's easy to find fresh pumpkin, but I haven't seen canned.Fresh pumpkin is used as a vegetable. Pumpkin pie is unknown here. I'llsee if my rabbit likes fresh pumpkin, but try to find the canned kindor have it brought over. I'll also try harder to find some hay for her.I think she's healthy eating only veggies, but I have read so muchabout fiber on here that I'll work on getting her more.

Question about canned pumpkin, are you talkingabout the pie fillers? or is there canned pumpkin out there that is notmixed with sugar.

Also, I heard about feeding pineapple which is like the Pumpkin. Canned or Fresh?

No, not pie fillers. If you look at the cans, some will say 100% pure pumpkin. That is what you want.

I've heard fresh pineapple is best. It's not like (or usedlike) pumpkin at all. Pumpkin is fed for fiber and pineappleis fed for it's enzymes, which may not have any affect at all accordingto an article Pamnock posted a while ago.

Any tips on those that don't seem to want to eattheir pumpkin?? I'd rather not force it down via syringe if I can helpit.......anyone got any good ideas? Even sticking a papaya tab (whichthey LOVE) and a craisin didn't seem to trick em into it!

How about blending a little pumpkin inwith oats, pellets, and sunflower seeds to make a mushy treat (like baby food). Start with a small amount ofpumpkin until they get used to it, and gradually increaseit until they eat it straight with nothing mixed in.

Rainbows! :)
