I checked it out.It looks alright. Another thing I could suggest (I never thought of this until you said you're more interested in cardio), is a windtrainer. Mine is called "Blackburn" mag trainer. It is about 15 years old or so. I have an old Cannondale racing bike, and in the winter, or whenever I want to do some cardio but don't want to go to the gym, I hook this apparatus onto the back wheel of my bike. Gee, I wish I had the technical, or even the correct laymans' terms for this part of the bike. No need to remove any wheels, it simply "screws" into the 'hub'(??) on your rear tire. There is also a rear roller, and if I put a 6' wooden block under my front wheel, I can pedal normally (switching gears as if I'm pedalling outside). Another apparatus I use is the stair climbing machine (very good for cardio), treadmill on the incline, and back in the old days, when it was probably considered "revolutionary" technology, I used the "versaclimber" in the gym. It's also hard for me to explain this one, too, but, it was sort of like climbing a wall, but you had to slide your feet into some sort of pedals, and it was an up and down motion. At the same time, your arms would "pull" you up, but you remained stationary. I'm so terrible at describing things!!! I don't think this is a popular machine anymore, but I liked it at the time. But, I'd definetly recommend the windtrainer for indoor riding, and just think, in the warmer weather, you can ride outside...but...you will have conditioned yourself over the winter, so you can ride (or run) more effeciently!!
