I had Devon in a pen with Amber and he ate a fewpieces of poop of the floor. The were normal and definitely notcecotropes. Is this normal?

Hey there,

Sometimes they do that. I had a buck that, when he was on the carpet inthe house, he would back-track and eat his own poo..I'm not sure why.

Yes they do enjoy an occasionalcocktail. Some bunnies will eat lots if theylack nutrition from their diet or from not gettingenough food.

Rainbows! :)

I wouldn't worry too much unless it's a regular thing then I'd checkout diet etc and ask a vet for an opinion, but for now don't worry toomuch , Bindy has done it once after we moved into our new house

I had the same question as the OP. Thanks to thesearch function I was able to find the answer here. My students werevisiting me recently and saw Qingqing eat her poop and it reallygrossed them out! I told them it was normal, but I don't think theybelieved me. I thought I had read on the forum before that it wasnormal, but I wasn't sure. Yep. Here is is.
