Well, the wednesday storm ripped their home down(the peices that had been duct taped for the time being held together!) and Keisha's cage got blown off the shelf, and she killed two of the babies, one gray one black. :( But the other three babies are moving around the box, eyes open.
Keisha wasn't the only one that got blown down, I had a few get blown around, it just wasn't pretty. No adults were lost, Blaze doesn't look good, but I'm doing what I can with him, he's also old. Everyone else seems to be okay. Now I learned about Kentucky wind storms.

More pictures will come of the babies soon.

How terrible! I'm so sorry. It's good that you didn't lose any adults, though, and the other three babies are doing well. Hope you don't have any other weather like that soon!

I am so sorry Heather! When we where in Lexington thursday the wind was HORRIBLE. We rarely get wind like that here, due to the hills, but in the city part it is all flat grown. This spring I lost an amazing hutch due to wind, blew the thing over the hill into a creek and I could not get it. I was so disapointed, 3 x 3 very well sheltered :( It did not have wire sides which is why it blew away.

I hope you can get everything fixed! The poor bunnies. I am so glad I have a building I can use, just a few days ago did I move everyone that was in outside hutches('cept one)inside. Got to dang cold.

That's to bad! My breed blue buck dutch got hurt last week, And its going to take him 6 weeks to heal..

Sorry. I've been busy with them and with work that I haven't had as much time online as I would have normally liked. The little ones are hopping in and out of the box, munching on momma's food and being little cuties. 2 bucks(Gray and Black) the last one is a little black doe.

I have enjoyed all of the pictures so much! Thank you! I am sorry for your loss of the two in the windstorm.

I have a couple dutch I just keep (I breed Flemish Giants), but when I was a girl, I had a couple of Dutch that kept accidentally breeding. Boy, did we have fun with the litters. You bring back fond memories. Thanks!

Oh no, the killed babies made me cry :( Poor little ones. The bunnies must have all been so scared during the storm. I'm glad 3 survived though. They sure are cute little babies. And Claire, I was tickled to see you mention my Skyler. I think he's the cutest little Dutch around!

Sorry to hear about the lost babies - the ones who are in the last picture are so cute.

I have a bad windstorm here right now - 40-50 mph gusts, 35 sustained... hope the barn door is still on...
