You don't cross the breeds and get them in one generation. Find a breeder that already has a nice stock. There's a couple in OH

Like SNM recommended, it would be best to locate a breeder who already works with harlequin Dutch (if they exist?- I am not sure of all the colors of Dutch).
Breeding a color like harlequin into Dutch by crossing a Dutch with a Harlequin (the breed) will not produce harlequin-marked Dutch rabbits right away. You have to have an extensive knowledge of how the harlequin gene works and how Dutch patterns work to begin a project like that. Marked breeds are tough!

I saw these two one graiglist tonight. they say they are Blue Harequin Dutch doe and buck. I do not know what they crossed to get them. they are very nice looking but I do not know if you can show these colors or not. I really thought about getting them. they come with pedegrees

You could also use any other breed (such as Mini Rex) that comes in Harli color

Seriously. It takes years to get the harlequin pattern into the dutch markings. Extensive research and patience.The 1st one has beautiful markings btw. They probably bought the stock from somebody else.
Generally you would use harlequins X dutch to create the harlequin dutch coloring
I'm not sure who holds the COD or if there even is a COD. Go the the ADRC (American Dutch Rabbit Club) website and there is a list. They are not showable either. ADRC is very strict and stubborn about the colors(varieties) they add. There's always an excuse. I personally want gold to be added.. Oh wells
