Does the male or female decide what bunnies babys will look like or female. Or does it just depend.

The look of the babies will be dependent on both parents, not just one. Colour, size, shape etc. If you are looking to breed two different breeds together (which I don't recommend) you could end up with a mix of some that look more like the dad, some that look more like the mum, and some that are inbetween. Colour can be very complicated and is affected by what each parent is carrying, not just what colour they are.

There is no guarantee to know what the rabbits will look like unless you are familiar with breeding genetics and are familiar with the backgrounds of both of the parents and they are the same breed.

If you are trying to figure the odds on what the babies will look like, as long as you know the parents and grand parents, you can make a pretty good guess using a Punnet Square. I started doing them when I was 11. They work well, as long as the info is good.
