List your dogs schedual... =D

6:15-6:30 scratch at the door of his cage to get out.

Then I open the door, fix up my bed while he wanders around my room and does stretches

6:40 I bring him outside, where he takes exactly 2 pees

6:45 I bring him back in and he does a poop on his 'pad' (puppy pad) because, he has what the vet calls a shy bladder, he can't poop outside, but he goes straight on his pad to.

6:45-7:15 He lays in the bathroom while I take a shower, usually warming my towel.. haha

7:16-7:45 He plays with his daily rawheid bone

Then after that I lock him in the kitchen, with his smaller cage to go in-and-out and lay in, and his food. If I go anywhere, that is... (lets pretend hthis is a school day)

During that time, he usualy eats 1/2 of the food I give him in the morning (1/4 cup) And drinks all his water.

3:15 When I come home there are usually 2 pee marks on his pad (I also use them for when i'm away) I'll take him out side and he'll pee once.

Lets skip forward a bit.

By 8 o'clock he's had a nap, played with his ball and pooped atleast once.

Then he's back in his cage for bedtime at 9:30.

This is the sammmmeeee schedual every day. He's pretty predictable, and knowing exactly when he pee's and poops is a great advantage.

Ps. I wanted to know if anyone else knows exactly what time their dogs do buisness (#2) at... because I do... haha

My dog is like a clock, he knows exactly what time it is.

6:00am he jumps on bed my parents bed and snuggles in.

6:30am he gets fed and then goes outside

7:15am my parents leave for work and barkley comes to sleep with me.

12:00pm Barkley goes to the window as he knows the mailman is coming.

12:30pm my grandpa usually comes over and I let barkley out.

4:00pm he gets his supper

4:30pm He goes for his walk

9pm He gets his teddy bear and gets ready for bed. He cuddles up next to my mom on the couch where he sleeps.

I find it fascinating how Barkley can keep perfect time. I figured he was going off clues(parents coming home, leaving at certain times) but he isn't. Even when we have time changes in the spring and fall, he is an hour off but its still exactly his times. Or on the weekends when no one has to get up at 6:30am he still knows its 6:30 and time to be fed(this gets really old when I'm the one having to wake up to feed him at 6:30am). He will come and get me at 4pm to feed him. How he knows its time I have no idea. Crazy

I also know when he does his business. It makes its easy to know when he'll need to be let out. I also taught him to pee on command. Its definitely the best command i've every taught him, lol.

My dog's Schedule is as follows.

If mom's up, she's up.... be it 5 am or 9 am...

If mom is on the couch, she is sleeping on my lap.

When dad comes home, she barks like mad, then jumps on his lap to get some attention.

When mom leaves, she is left to roam the main floor of the house.... she tortures the kitty, and sleeps....

She hates when Scott and I disturb her prebedtime nap... LOL

In case you're wondering, I have a 3lb long hair chihuahua, and she uses a wee pad... I like that she doesn't have to go outside to go potty, especially in the winter.

Phoenix schedule When Erroll works

4 am get up and go outside/pooh one time

8 am get fred by me then go outside/pooh one time

my dog is taught to eat within 15 mintuess of her food being put down or she looses it.

12 pm go out again normally because I am bored and want to go sit outside

Go out again at 6:30 when EJ gets home

9 pm last time outside and a short 15 minute run on bike thats the only time it is cool enough.

The only difference is she gos to the bathroom at 8 am for the first time instead of 4 when he is home

Phoenix is also trained to go on command. Potty is her command for pee and pooh.

When we are not home she is free home in our bedrrom where her bed it

I also check Phoenix's pooh everyday for signs of illness. Ironiclly when her pooh is off os when she gets sick

Holly my puppy doesn't really have a routine yet, it's just wake up, pee, go crazy, eat, sleep and that's basically it until about 10 or 11pm when she's locked in the kitchen to sleep.

Heidi my old dog sleeps most of the time, she goes out about three times a day to do her business and take a slow walk around, eat and go back inside to sleep.
