Popcorn's gonna get fixed soon. I was waiting for the testicles to make their appearance so that they could get removed. I can see the sack but they look empty - kinda like what Peaches' looked like when they started to shrink after he got fixed. I was wondering if the humping was a sign that the testicles have dropped and if all males did this without exception. Right now he's not humping but he has started chinning stuff. There's no way for me to check to see if there is anything in those sacks cuz it's a 2 person job and my daughter won't touch them while I hold him"Mom that'sgross!":pand she can't hold him still enough for me to check - cuz he's a struggler.

Sooo, if he starts humping is that a sign that his testes have dropped or can I not rely on that to tell.

He'll be going to the vet after the holidays anyways, cuz he may have molar issues... - that's in another post

Well, humping can be for dominance too, so it's not really a tell-tale sign. I have does who do it and bucks who don't, actually. LOL!

Hutch was humping anything that didn't move away fast enough three weeks before his testes made their appearance. When they finally did, we sure made them disappear.

I know about the dominance humping which I can only assume is different than the other kind - you know the one where it's more amorous and annyoying. Do I have to feel his testes to see if there's anything in them?

If there are sacks...then his testes are in...
When rabbits get nervous/scared...like when you pick them up...their testicles pull back up inside!

Our vet calls it the "houdini move".
He has to confirm they're in for neuter...but when he flips them to check...voila...it's a girl! LOL :)

foreverblue127- Yes chinning or "nugging" as we call it here in our little fuzz-family...is a sign of ownership...that includes you! :)

If anyone has ever watched the movie "Finding Nemo"...you'll remember the scene with the seagulls and the crab?
MINE! MINE! MINE!...very rabbitesque behavior! :D LOL
