I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.You made the right decision. I believe that animals livetheir entire lives selflessly for us, but we, as humans, by nature, areselfish. The one truly selfless gift we can give thesewonderful animals is the gift of being able to let them go when theyare suffering and we cannot take that suffering away. Yougave your bunny the best gift, you were able to take away his pain.

You will know if you should get another bun. The decisionwill come to you with time, and maybe a bunny will cross your path insome way that just touches your heart.

Thumpa will wait for you at the rainbow bridge, a place where he can be happy and pain free forever.

cant thank every1 enough for all your greatsupport, this sites absolutely brilliant , the people are great and imgetting to know people in a way i never imagined , tho by that i feelbad because had thumpa not been ill id prob not have found this sitebut im sure he understands. Here's a picture of our little buddy, Thumpa.

It's rather small, Bradd, so I made it the size of your Avatar (thepicture that we have under our names on the left hand side of ourposts). If you click on the picture, save it into your harddrive, then go into My Account and into Avatar, hit the browse button,locate the picture in your hard drive and double click on it, it willcome up whenever you post. If you have anytroubles, let me know.

If you have any bigger pictures, send them along. Thumpa is absolutely adorable!

Hi, I was so sad to read you had lost your bunny,they become such great friends. Please get another one, not to replaceyour lost but there are so many bunnies that need kind and caringpeople like you sound.

Just remember you did what you could, bunnies go down hill very fastand sometimes we just don't get time to see whats going on, even if wespend hours with them.

When my bunny grinds his teeth, I know its time to go to the vet to getthem trimed. And no there are no other signs, not even a wet chin, butif I ignore it, his tongue becomes so sore he can't eat.We gothrough this every 3 to 4 weeks and I am stilllearning.
