Thanks everyone, your stories were really helpful. Lulu is coming around. I can really tell the difference from when I fist got her. She will hop up and put her paws on my leg now and let pet her head. It feels really good to at least be tolerated:inlove:!

I can tell its going to be a long process, but she is really making improvements now.

Glad she is coming over to be petted... and she is a beautiful rabbit - I am partial to broken blacks. :)

I found with my buns (show buns so they are intact), the Hollands were not as territorial as my English Spot or my Checkered Giants... and Checkered Giants were not afraid to show me my hands were not welcome in their cages...I bore a few bites and scratches as we were getting to know each other. They have a reputation for being nasty but I like to think there are no nasty rabbits - they just have to be understood.

I gave them individual "turnout time" in a horse stall and in the house and they began to warm up to me - all but one will come up for noserubs now and three will "chin" me.

Can't wait to hear more about her and see more pictures!

Denise
