Deciding what to keep

We have a litter of 3 dwarf hotots that will be 4weeks old on Thurs.We are planning on showing a couple of them(thiswill be our first time showing)and was trying to decide which two tokeep.Any suggestions on how we decide?We have already got a depositfrom a lady on one of them so we need to decide within the next 4weeks.We bought the Standard of Perfection book and have been readingit and trying to learn from it.Thanks!

picking bunnies can be a difficult job if you'venot done it before, I would surgest picking one closest to the breedstandered as possiable, dont forget colours, the colour of your bun isimportant if you want do do some seriours showing

By 6-8 weeks of age is a good time todecide. After examining for DQ's, the most important aspectof the Dwarf Hotot is its body type. Pose each one properly(Do NOT stand them up like a Netherland Dwarf!)sitting downon the table with its front feet even with its eyes and the rear toeseven with the stifle. Looking down from the top of therabbit, the shoulders should be as wide as the hindquarters.Narrow shoulders are a common fault. Viewing from the side,the Dwarf Hotot should have good depth to the topline and be full andsmooth over the hips. Cow hocks, pinched hindquarters,undercut hindquarters and hollow over the hips are common faults in theDwarf Hotot.

One you get the bodies, you can move on to a full head and thick, short ears.
